lexington’s oldest bridal boutique
Since 2009, we have been styling and celebrating brides in our charming little house located on historic Clay Avenue in Lexington, Kentucky. Bridal trends have come and gone, wedding aesthetics have evolved, but our mission and location have always remained the same. Why? Because there is a timeless joy in welcoming our brides into our home to guide them through the process of saying yes to their beauty and their confidence alongside their loved ones.
As we open up our home to you, our hope is that you find your dream wedding dress, create joyful memories with your loved ones, and celebrate you and your partner’s legacy of love.
We are grateful that you are choosing to include us in those precious moments with your friends and family, and we cannot wait to welcome you into our Twirl Family!

A note from the founder:
ty mcbrayer
I get asked all the time why I opened Twirl. I was 29 years old and had just spent three years of my life working in government followed by a year and a half in corporate marketing. I had been in a LOT of weddings at this point, but not married myself. I kept thinking how I would love to have a small boutique for brides in Lexington. I wanted a place that felt like home where brides could come to find the most special and beautiful dress they will ever wear.
When I get something in my head that I want to make happen it takes hold of me. This idea took hold and became my passion project. I opened Twirl in November 2009 with the help and support of my fiance (now hubby), family, friends, and advisers that I couldn’t have done without. I truly think of Twirl as my first baby. It is a family business and I am thankful for each day and each customer that allows me to do what I love.
thank you for the way your legacy of love impacts our own.
from my family to yours -
When you become a part of the Twirl Family, you become a part of my family’s story and for that, I will be forever grateful. Because of our brides, my daughters have never known a day where celebrating love & empowering women isn’t a part of their norms. Thank you for shaping their worlds in such a beautiful way!
She twirled through life with a heart full of joy.
