The Garden Wedding Contest 2010

 The Desert Botanical Gardensin Phoenix, AZ is partnering with The Arizona Republic, AZ Central, and Channel 12 to give a deserving couple the wedding of their dreams. Think “The Today Show Throws a Wedding” but in Arizona! :)

“The Garden Wedding Contest 2010” launched on Monday, March 1, 2010.  Couples can enter to be the “winning couple” through Friday, March 12 at 8pm.  Once the final couple is determined, they will be announced publicly on Monday, April 5 and the wedding planning will begin! 

Over the following 6 months, the viewers and readers can share in the wedding planning by logging on to “The Garden Wedding Contest 2010” Official Website, dbgwedding.azcentral.com , and voting on various wedding elements.  We are very excited to announce that wedding planner, Victoria Canada, of Victoria Canada, will work with you and the couple throughout the planning process to finalize all aspects of the wedding.

It’s going to be a blast! Twirl is so excited to be a party of this fabulous, fun event. Twirl Boutique will be providing the Wedding Dress, Bridal Party attire (bridesmaid dresses for the ladies and tuxedos for the gentlemen) as well as beautiful jewelry by jewelry designer Liz LoveWe hope you’ll enter! We can’t wait to be a party of your special day!

Jim Hjelm and Blush by JLM Trunk Show This Weekend

The entire Jim Hjelm Spring 2010 bridesmaid collection will be at Twirl Scottsdale this weekend, plus the brand new bridal line by JLM, Blush.  We are thrilled to be launching Blush by JLM at Twirl Chandler, and are excited to be able to showcase the bridal gowns this weekend in Scottsdale.  The line is beautiful and what makes it more exciting – thre dresses are incredibly affordable.

Grand Opening of Twirl in Lexington, KY!

Twirl Lexington is located on historic Clay Avenue near downtown Lexington among upscale boutiques and gift shops.  The boutique will feature After Six, Alfred Sung, Amsale, Dessy Collection, Lela Rose, Lynn Lugo, Jenny Yoo and Thread. We are excited to open our doors for our Grand Opening on November 27, 2009!  The fun starts @ 10am. All are welcome!

We are also thrilled to announce the engagement of Twirl Lexington’s owner, Ty Slone, to her fabulous fiance Brandon. Not only is it so exciting for Ty to be opening the first Twirl in Kentucky, but she will also be planning her wedding right along side her future Twirl brides. It just doesn’t get any better than that!

Twirl and Scottsdale Fashion Week Tomorrow!

Come see Twirl tomorrow, November 6, at 7:45pm, as we showcase new Spring 2010 bridesmaid styles fresh off the New York runways!  This is the only preview of the new collections before store samples arrive between January-March.   Buy your tickets for our Southbridge show at the Scottsdale Fashion Week website .   We attended several shows last year, and the event is a blast!   It’s a great excuse for a girls’ night out in Scottsdale for some wine, food, and fashion.  Hope to see many of you there!
