Jamie and Emile were married on a beautiful late Kentucky spring day on May 29, 2010.  Jamie lives in Los Angeles, but knew she wanted to come home to Lexington for her big day.  Planning the wedding from across the country was a huge task to undertake, but with the help of Always Planned, the results were stunning!  If you have not been to the Headley-Whitney Museum it is well worth a visit.

Jamie just shared these photos from her wedding with us by her photographer Harper Smith Photography yesterday and I knew I had to share them immediately! Jamie’s navy, green and accents of blue created a very classic, beautiful feel for the wedding.  Her bridesmaids were outfitted in After Six Style 6553 in Blueberry Taffeta.  This style suits many body types and is such a timeless dress!

Congratulations to Jamie and Emile!  We wish you a lifetime of happiness!

Natasha was one of the very first brides to come through the doors of Twirl Lexington.  From the moment she came in her sense of style and sweet personality came through.  Actually before Natasha even came in, one of her fabulous bridesmaids came in to check things out first and get an idea of what dresses we had to match the blush pink the bride had in mind!

Natasha and Morgan were married in a perfect outdoor setting in Morgan’s parent’s backyard in picturesque horse country in May.  The bridesmaids wore Dessy Collection styles 2787 and 2799 in Blush.  The effect was quite stunning!  In fact, after seeing Carrie Underwood’s wedding pictures I think she stole some ideas from Natasha…blush bridesmaid dress, pink sash on the wedding gown, and pink kissing balls!

A special thanks to Alumbra Photography for sharing these beautiful pictures with us!  Congratulations to Morgan and Natasha!  We wish you a lifetime of happiness.

Last summer Lindsay and Paul were married at Chaparral Christian Church, followed by a reception at the beautiful Millennium Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Lindsay and her mom did a great job planning the wedding, and Visionyard Studios Photography can be credited for the wonderful photographs from the big day.

Lindsay’s bridesmaids looked absolutely fabulous wearing the Jenny Yoo ‘Jocelyn’ dress in Poppy Red Silk Shantung. This dress is both fun and chic at the same time, and definitely rewearable. For one of Lindsay’s girls it was the perfect Valentine’s Day dress :)

Lindsay and Paul, thank you so much for sharing your special day with Twirl! We hope your first year of marriage has been amazing :)

Tiffany and Brandon were recently married at The Wright House  in Mesa, Arizona, and I’ll share with you why I love everything about their wedding :)

First, I adore the pictures from their big day, which were captured by Leo Patrone Photography

Tiffany’s bridesmaids also happened to wear my favorite dress , Priscilla of Boston (Style 1515) in satin. Their shoes and jewelry were the perfect complements to the fabulous dress!

And we can’t forget the precious flower girls who donned Melissa Sweet dresses (Style MS 3) in Silk Charmeuse. (The ring bearers were pretty handsome as well :) )

But the cutest detail of the special day was  the groom’s surprise for the bride :) According to Tiffany..

“Brandon sang his vows to me… playing the ukulele, and each of his groomsmen and our officiant also joined in and played an instrument. Brandon spent 9 months writing the song, and rehearsed with the group three days before the wedding. ”

Click Here to see the video footage that family members captured of the vows!

Tiffany and Brandon, thank you so much for allowing Twirl to be a part of your big day and sharing your wonderful memories. We wish you a lifetime of happiness!

It truly was a day full of love for Brock and Nikki! The two were married at the always beautiful Gainey Ranch Golf Club in Scottsdale!

Filled with happiness and joy, the Bride looked phenomenal in her gown while her bridesmaid’s completed the party with their stunning Jim Hjelm Occasions bridesmaid dresses (style JH5806)! I am absolutely in love with their color scheme! How cute and classy do they look?

I absolutely love the back of the dresses too! So cute!

All the beautiful pictures were captured by To Have and To Hold Photography!

Surely, this was a day to remember and we are so glad that Brock and Nikki were able to share it with us! We were so happy to be apart of your big day and congratulate you both on finding each other :)

Surrounded by friends and family, Sommer and Brandon were recently married at the beautiful Desert Botanical Gardens in Phoenix, Arizona.

O’Grace Photography was on hand to capture every moment of their big day, and the photographs turned out absolutely gorgeous!

Sommer’s bridesmaids wore the fabulous Phoebe and Marni dresses  from the Jenny Yoo Collection in eggplant eastern shantung, each making the dresses unique by adding their own accessories. I also love the basket of flowers they carried opposed to the traditional bouquet!

From the setting to the colors to the bridal party wardrobe, everything fit together perfectly!

Sommer and Brandon, thank you so much for letting Twirl be a part of your celebration, we wish you a lifetime of happiness!

Emily and Matt were married at the elegant Los Angeles Athletic Club in LA, California. Kelly Bland, the venue’s catering manager was on hand to help the couple with their big day, and according to Emily “she was amazing” :)

Their wonderful photographs were captured by Floataway Studios , who from the looks of their website, are totally fun!

The bridesmaids looked fabulous wearing Melissa Sweet style 110, which has a cotton lace bodice, and a crinkle chiffon skirt. The dresses seem to not only complement Emily’s gown but the theme of the entire wedding as well.

Originally Emily hadn’t planned on having the usual “something old, new, borrowed, and blue” since their wedding wasn’t very traditional, however in the end it all fell into place. Her dress was the “new”, she had a “borrowed” headband from her sister-in-law, and her childhood blanket served as the “old” and the “blue.”

According to Emily …

“I tore a little piece off of it and put it in between the stems of flowers in my bouquet. Although it was special for me to carry a piece of something that I’ve had my entire 28 years, it definitely was more of a homage to my grandma, who died three years ago. When I was younger, I carried my blanket everywhere, and my mom would complain to her that I would probably never give the blanket up. My grandma’s answer? “It’s not like shes going to walk down the aisle with it!” So hopefully she was watching me prove her wrong and laughing, as I did walk down  the aisle with (part of) the blanky! ” :)

Emily and Matt, thank you for letting Twirl be a part of your special day, we wish you a lifetime of happiness!

Beautiful family, friends and most of all LOVE!

Rene and Elizabeth were married at the Country Club at DC Ranch! The wedding was an absolute dream come true! Just look at how cute Elizabeth and her bridesmaid’s look! Stunning!

Heather Crabtree with Outstanding Occasions did a phenomenal job making the day unforgettable for both the bride and groom while photographer Ben Quillinan captured all the priceless moments!

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Deubler on a fabulous wedding and the lasting memories to come :)

Lisa and Glen first said their I-dos at the lovely St. Theresa Catholic Parish, then it was over to the gorgeous Intercontinental Montelucia for the fabulous cocktail hour and reception!

Chris Richards was the mastermind behind the wonderful photographs from their big day, and Cicely Rocha-Miller with Life Design Events was on hand to ensure everything ran smoothly!
Being a bridesmaid nine times herself, Lisa knew exactly what she wanted for her girls: something classy, that hopefully they could wear again, but also something that was comfortable and made them feel sexy and beautiful at the same time! The popular Jim Hjelm 5935 ended being exactly what they were looking for. In fact when Lisa tried it on, she wanted to buy it herself :) Since the dresses were black, the girls were able to wear black shoes of their choice, along with whatever jewelry they wanted, and we think they looked stunning!

Not only did the bridesmaids love their dresses, but everyone else did too! Lisa had people coming up to her at the wedding complimenting her and asking where she got them!

Glenn and Lisa we are so thrilled Twirl got to be a part of your special day! We wish you a lifetime of happiness!

I had to share this picture in because it was so adorable :)

Fun, laughter and most of all LOVE!

These three words are among the few that describe Memo and Lisa’s wedding at The Country Club at DC Ranch!

A total DIY wedding, Lisa absolutely shined in her gown while her groom and groomsmen looked dashing in their tuxes! I absolutely adore Lisa’s overall look! The beading looks beautiful! Her bridesmaids totally rocked the Thread Stella  shown in Chiffon blend! As did her adorable flower girl shown in a Melissa Sweet flower girl dress! Both the color of their dresses and the flowers complimented each other so well!

All the magical and priceless moments were captured by Pangburn Photography!

It is obvious that this wedding was exactly what the bride and groom wanted! Lisa even said that the people at DC Ranch are calling it “the party of the year” for 2009 at the club! What fun it must’ve been!

Memo and Lisa, from all of us Twirl girls here, we wish you a lifetime of bliss and happiness! Congratulations on married life :)

Ruffle detail of Thread Stella Dress

It is official…I am now OBSESSED with the bridesmaid dresses I just received!!!  Since we have a whole 38 days left until our wedding I couldn’t resist sharing these gorgeous dresses with you all a tad early!  They are the Stella dress by Thread in Fuchsia Matte Silk (Mini length).  Now just picture them on 6 beautiful girls holding ivory peonies in front of a big white 1800s mansion on a late spring day in Kentucky.  Oh. My. Gosh.  So excited!

Thread Stella Dress in Fuchsia Matte Silk

Love is in the air! Especially for Daniel and Taylor who were married at The Western Hills United Methodist Church with a reception at the Ardovino’s Desert Crossing in Phoenix, Arizona!

Taylor looked wonderful in her dress as did her girls! The look on their faces says it all, this day was definitely a day to remember!

Beautiful decorations and overall feel, Liz Thurmond did an excellent job planning! All the priceless moments were captured by Laura Natividad!

One of the cutest pictures ever! Daniel is a pharmacist and had their wedding cake in the form of a pill bottle! How cute is that!

Daniel and Taylor, from all of us Twirl girls, congratulations! Enjoy married life :)

- Mo :)

Barbarann and Daniel said their I- Do’s at the beautiful Fountain Hills Park in Fountain Hills, Arizona.

Their wonderful photographs were captured by Cassandra Heiser.

Barbarann’s girls stood by her side wearing the Gardenia dress by Simple Silhouettes in Gold Silk Shantung and everyone looked gorgeous!

One of my favorite parts of their big day was the funny story Barbarann shared with us…

“My mom made me 30 mins late to my own wedding, when I asked my husband weeks later if he ever got worried I bailed, he simply responded “hell no we all knew it was all your mother” :)

Barbarann and Daniel we are so happy Twirl got to be a part of your special day, we wish you a lifetime of happiness!

Kim and Ryan tied the knot at the beautiful and modern Tempe Center for the Arts in Tempe, Arizona.

The gorgeous photographs from their big day were captured by photographer David DeDios.

Kim’s girls wore the adorable “Melanie” dress from the Thread Collection and they looked fabulous! This dress has several options for fabric and color and they chose to do it in the blackberry duchess satin, which we love!

Kim and Ryan, thanks for letting Twirl be a part of your special day. We wish you a lifetime of happiness!

A dream of all dreams…a Twirl girl gets married!

Andrew and Jenna (previously a Twirl intern) were married at the amazing Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception with a following reception at the Willow Brook Country Club.

An absolutely breath taking service, Jenna’s bridesmaids were gleaming in the “Violet” dress by Simple Silhouettes. Her navy dresses were perfectly complementary to her dress and really added that elegant flare to her wedding. The dresses were a simple but sophisticated touch and really allowed the bridesmaids to shine down the isle.

Not only were the dresses adorable, but Brandi Burkett (brandi-burkett.blogspot.com) truly captured each moment beautifully!

As if her wedding wasn’t exciting enough, We are also so thrilled to announce that Jenna’s mother-in-law will be opening up a Twirl in Tyler, Texas! What an exciting year Jenna & Rhona have in store!

Jenna and Andrew, from all of the Twirl Girls, we wish you both a lifetime of happiness and bliss! Congratulations :)
